Variety.............
Our worship is a mixture of traditional and contemporary. We use a modern language Communion service ( Church in Wales 2004) throughout the Parish and our Morning Prayer Services are a mixture of contemporary, Iona Prayer Book and Church in Wales (1984) Prayer Book. A variety of Hymns are sung in all our services with the exception of the 8.00 am Pennard Communion which is 'said' only.
We hold monthly healing services on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.30 pm at St. Mary's Pennard.that use a variety of forms some with communion and some not.
Sometimes the service is quiet and reflective with the laying on of hands and annointing with holy oil for healing. Sometimes they are joyous services of praise giving thanks to God and a chance to gather and give thanks for what God has done for us.
We also hold monthly informal worship at the Community Hall in Pennard on the third Sunday of the month at 11.00. This service lasts for 30 minutes and is followed by tea and coffee. It is ideal for young and old alike and as in all our services children and families are always welcome.
